There are few things more stressful than moving. You have to be so careful of who you trust, as a recent CBC Marketplace report showed. I contacted several moving companies to get estimates, including It’s the Right Move. Philip Feitz, owner of It’s the Right Move, was the only one who showed up on time. I decided to go with It’s the Right Move for a couple of reasons. First, I was really impressed with Philip Feitz on both a personal and professional level. Philip’s involvement with Home Suite Hope and his association with Hillspring Church gave me an idea of his character and made me feel I could trust him and his company. Philip patiently answered all of the questions I posed directly and through emails. In addition, the estimate from It’s the Right Move was easily the best one of those I received. One of the important aspects of the estimate was that the billing began once the truck arrived at my residence, not from the time it left the company building. Two of the other companies I had contacted ended up lowering their offers during the time I was making my decision (about a week or two after we had talked). That indicated to me that there may be a tendency by some companies to provide an inflated estimate from which they can move down to make it appear you are getting a discount. There was no fudging or manipulating estimates with It’s the Right Move. The movers arrived on time, with a nice surprise. Two movers were scheduled but Philip and another colleague also arrived and the four of them very quickly had my things carefully loaded into the truck. I was pleased to see that there was no extra charge for the additional manpower. It was very hot that day but the move went very smoothly. I was so impressed with the care and dedication of everyone involved, but most importantly with the fact that the cost of the move was what Philip had promised in his estimate. I would unreservedly recommend It’s the Right Move based on the very positive and relatively non stressful experience I had!

Philip and his It’s the Right Move team moved us from a three bedroom home in Mississauga to Stratford. The move required a 2 week period where our belongings had to be stored. Al, Paul, and Jason were efficient, friendly, and full of expert advice, constantly soothing our nerves about such a huge move. They were extremely careful about protecting our floors, and belongings as they battled rain at one end, and mud and slush at the other. The process was completed with no breakage! From start to finish Philip was a gem to deal with. He was very personable, informative and professional. He and his helper Jason completed our move in a timely and organized manner. Moving, as we all know is very stressful yet Philip managed to keep everything light and stress-free with his wit and great personality. I want to thank you and your associates for a completely hassle-free move on Dec.29th for mom. Paul and Ben went above the normal call of duty and went out of there way to assure mom (who was understandably a little nervous at the beginning of the day). By the end of the day, we all could not have been happier with the move. —-We even felt that the cost incurred was fairly reasonable too.
These days I have noticed that very often in the service business, the service is somewhat lacking. However, Paul and Ben arrived even a little early (traffic was not as bad as they thought it would be), and they immediately went to work. They particularly understood the needs of a senior, and they could not have been more pleasant and helpful to us all -especially with a number of special requests we had. They were obliging, and pleasant throughout the entire move.
I will recommend “It’s The Right Move” to any of my family/friends who may need a mover in the future.

A friend recommended It’s The Right Move for our move to Aurora. Philip provided moving material, and a competitive quote. Most importantly, Philip and his crew were punctual on moving day – had a great positive attitude and were VERY careful with our furniture and fragile items. I hired Philip and his crew to move my wife and I from Grimsby to Kincardine. They arrived at 8 am and worked to 8:30 pm. They would not have arrived home till after 11 pm. They worked just has hard at the end of the day as they did when they arrived. Their good spirits and courteous approach made the stresses leading up the move ease away. EXCELLENT! I did my homework before choosing “It’s the Right Move” and they didn’t disappoint. When I called and left a message to get a quote, Philip (the owner) responded back to me right away. He made an appointment and provided a quote which was very reasonable. When I requested boxes, they arrived just when they said they would. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and went right to work. The 3 men worked very hard and took great care to wrap the furniture securely. They were friendly and fun and made the move easy. These guys were amazing – not only did they come to my house before the move to estimate, but on the day of the move they were courteous, careful and extremely efficient. They also answered all of the questions I needed answered throughout the process, without once making it seem like I was a bother or asking a stupid question. I would use them again in a heartbeat, for both a long or short move.

I can’t say enough good things about Its The Right Move. Philip and his crew were absolutely outstanding. We had a very difficult move with logs of very large, bulky, expensive, and heavy items; everything was handled no problem and with no damage. Not only that, but with our move we ran into some unexpected issues, and Philip was extremely helpful in coming up with solutions. I would would use their service again without hesitation and recommend them to everybody.

Philip thanks you for all your help!!! We moved from one end of the city to the other and Philip has made that as stress free as possible. Knowing that we had a lot of boxes Philip brought 2 trucks with him and two extra helpers. They wrapped and took great care with all our belongings. They were quick, highly motivated and worked very hard. Additional Philip was kind enough to help us take some things to the garbage disposal at the end of the day. Our family is very thankful for finding these guys and choosing them to help us with our move.

These guys were fantastic. To accommodate us, they packed on a public holiday. The move was done over four days which made for a more relaxed affair. It was done professionally. Nothing was too much trouble. Then something happened that I never would have expected. When the hours were tabulated, they came in lower than initially quoted and so our entire bill was 20% less than we expected. Just wonderful. Shows how trustworthy they are. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Philip and his team performed beyond expectations. From beginning to end, It’s The Right Move proved to be right choice indeed. My situation involved moving from a 4,000sf 4-bdrm house filled with 11-years of accumulated stuff to a smaller 2,600sf 3-bdrm house with narrow halls and doorways. Expecting the move to be a challenge, I phoned a number of well-reviewed firms and Philip was the most responsive and polite of the bunch. Philip personally came by and did a thorough review of my move, explained the process in detail, and was helpful with all my questions. On the 2-days of the move (one day for his team to help pack … wonderfully done; the another to actually move), the team brought a fantastic attitude, didn’t dent or scratch a thing, and performed a number of minor miracles in getting some of my heavy, bulky pieces exactly to the right place. I also had a number of surplus pieces of furniture and Philip was helpful in taking them at my request to two furniture banks that he helps free of charge. When it came time to settle the bill, I have to admit that I was bracing myself for some sort of extra charge for some of the above-and-beyond work that they had to do. Instead, the bill came in slightly below Philip’s initial estimate – awesome! I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon but when I do, I trust It’s The Right Move will be movers. You will not go wrong by at least including Philip on your list of people to call when looking for a mover.

We definitely made the right move by choosing Philip and It’s the Right Move when we relocated last month. In more than 35 years of moving homes from near to far, we have never had such great service. Philip is very knowledgeable in his field and a very easy person to deal with. He says what he can do for you, then professionally and efficiently does it. His help with our move went beyond simply moving house contents – Philip was a great resource with many other issues that arise during a move including flexible scheduling. To cap it off, Philip’s final price came in under what he had quoted us, which was very affordable. I’d rate them 11 out of 10 if I could. Fantastic job!

This company is amazing. From the start to the end, Phil was professional, trustworthy and reliable. He came to our apartment to take a full inventory of our belongings and of the apartment (we were in a third floor walk up!), in order to provide the most accurate estimate. He got back to us quickly with an estimate. Phil supplied boxes for us and he said he would deliver them if we preferred. On the day of, he and his partner were on time, and even though the cost was already agreed upon (and at an hourly rate), they were quick! They took great care with our items, making sure to pack breakables with expert care. They met us at our new place (in a different city) right on time, and were equally energetic on the other end. We couldn’t be happier! You made our move what we never thought it could be- completely painless! Thanks!

I was referred to Philip at It’s the Right Move by my friend who is an interior designer. Philip scheduled a date to assess my apartment as soon as I called him. After reviewing what I owned he was able to provide a flat rate. The day of the move Philip and his assistant arrived on time, were quick and efficient and the total time of the move was 3 hours. They put all of my furniture where I requested it to be in my new place and set up my bed, etc. It was a good experience and I would used them again and would refer to others. Philip was also able to beat the cost of his competitors in Toronto.

It’s the Right Move was recommended to us by Evelyn Thoy. Philip arrived on time and gave us his estimate for the move which was quite reasonable. About 3 weeks before the move he brought us a number of boxes for packing, tape, tissue and white paper and wardrobe boxes. It was very timely and extremely useful. On moving day he and his crew showed up on time and lost no time in getting our belongings on the truck. Nothing was broken and nothing was missing. We couldn’t have chosen a better company to move with! I recommend this company highly….very professional and very courteous!

It’s the Right Move helped me move a client into a retirement residence. Due to the “move in” time constraints we asked them to arrived early in the morning. They arrived on time ready to go. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. As time was of the essence they went over and above the call of duty. I was very impressed by the service they provided. I would definetly recommend “It’s The Right Move” to anyone who is looking for a worry free moving experience, Philip the company owner was great, he was at my place 20 minutes after I called in to inquire about their services to look at the furniture that needed to be moved & I was quoted a very reasonable price, since I was very busy lately, I kind of waited for the last minute to hire a moving company, but Philip was very understanding & he even had to miss a family event on my moving day to accomodate my request. He showed up with his crew on time on the moving day, everything was moved quickly & efficiently to the new place. Unlike my experience with other moving companies in Canada & overseas, mine with “It’s The Right Move” was a great one, I would definitely use their services again in all my future moves, very polite & friendly crew, over all great service & great value.

This company is AMAZING!! Very reliable, quick and reasonably priced. They were great and I’d recommend them to anyone!! I was SO worried about a long, fragile dining table that i had. I knew it wouldn’t make it out my door, but they came up with a better idea…out the window!! They lowered it gracefully out the window. I couldn’t believe it!

Fantastic service, efficient, extremely careful, timely, friendly and courteous. I believe we can recognize quality in this field as we moved several times across continents over the last few years. Before we used several large international movers but all but one had issues so we tried a smaller local firm this time around. While moving within the same neighbourhood, the two houses could hardly be any more different in size and layouts (from large to smaller!). Philip and his crew were extremely helpful throughout as they were doing not just moving but also packing and unpacking. They also assisted us with de-cluttering and for many unwanted items helped finding new homes/ charities as well as disposing off of junk. Finally, since we liked what we saw, we retained them also for bit of garage organizing. Definitely would use them again!

I had the pleasure of working with Philip and his employee in moving large and small items from my house to storage. They were punctual, even showed up a few minutes early and worked quickly and carefully. It was the smoothest move I have had and have moved 7 times in the past 9 years, so I am very familiar with moving. I would highly recommend this company. Philip is polite and very helpful, he even helped in finding me the right size storage unit for the best price. Moving can be stressful but the stress was minimized with this company. I really did make “The Right Move”. Happy moving …
